Robery Olley has transformed the presentation of Aesops famous fables from verbal to visual form and has created this beautiful series of paintings, with over 60 in the collection which will be gradually introduced to our website. The first fifteen prints are now available in the store.

Caricatures by Robert Olley

As an acomplished caricaturist, Bob is able to capture the personalisty of his subjects with a unique humour and keen wit. In addition to producing caricatures as the perfect gift for a range of customers, Bob has also captured the likenesses of a variety of notable names including John Prescott MP, Patrick Stewart and others.

Robert’s Commissioned Works

Robert Olley has been commissioned to design and develop a wide range of artistic works over the years; from themed murals for local hospitals, to iconic bronze statues of the legendary Stan Laurel – Bob’s unique style and artistic wit has seen his work in high demand all over the world.

About Robert Olley

Using his unique style of drawing, painting and sculpture, Bob is able to capture the very heart and humour of his native North East. His love of the Geordie folk, their way of life and, above all, their sense of humour, has given him inspiration since he left the mining industry in 1968.
