Nelson Mandela

At the 1991 National Union of Mineworkers conference held at Johannesburg, South Africa, Nelson Mandela was presented with a Bob Olley mining sculpture “Putter & Pony” by Mr David Guy, President, NUM, north East Area.

Bob is a honorary member of British National Union of Minworkers.
