The most detailed painting I have ever undertaken. How do you encapsulate all the things that mean something to South Tynesiders or Sand Dancers as we are sometimes known? 
I began with a list of places which were important to me but soon realised that we all have our own preferences. The project took almost four months to complete. The  painting
contains one hundred and fifty two locations  and  places  of  interest. I had lots of
assistance from many  people and I hope the result  does justice to them, and all South Tynesiders wherever  they are in the world.  The print comes complete with a key to the locations.
